I want to make a photo ablum with powerpoint 2007 and record a period of my voice to insert into it. How could I do this?

If you want to experiment try:

Voicethread and Brainshark (use the free myBrainShark) - which are two free services that offer to add voice (and more) to Power Point.  VT may not suit your project but it is a very interesting way to use PP's.

Another is Slide Effect, which exports to YouTube.

To make a seperate audio track - try both TrakAx or Audacity where you can add voice, loops and remix images and video free.

You should use record narration feature of PowerPoint to record your own voice. Read How to embed, record, insert, edit audio in PowerPoint? to learn about this feature.

PowerPoint allows you to narrate your presentation with record narration feature. As you move through the slides your voice gets recorded in the Presentation file.

You can record your voice by using functions in PowerPoint directly. Please follow the steps on Record Narration/Sound in PowerPoint 2003 & 2007
